Salzburg
Apartments, Houses and Chalets for Sale
The city of Salzburg is world
renowned as the home of Mozart and "The Sound of Music". It straddles
the river Salzach, and the old city sits below the impressive Mönchsberg
mountain with its stone fortress. Salzburg is a beautiful, compact city
with impressive squares and space to relax in the Mirabell Gardens. In
1997 the old city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's
lovely to browse along it's famous streets: Getreidegasse, Judengasse,
Goldgasse, Kaigasse, Linzergasse and Steingasse with buildings
from the Middle Ages, Romanesque, Baroque and Renaissance periods. Many
are now elegant shops.

A visit to Salzburg is not
complete without a stop in at the Cathedral, Hohensalzburg Fortress, the
Residenz, St. Peter's Monastery or Mozart's birthplace.
A short
distance outside the city there is also Salzburg Zoo and Hellbrunn
Palace with its trick fountains.
In summer the Salzburg
Festival attracts visitors from all over the world.
Daily low cost flights
to Salzburg Airport from the UK and other parts of Europe have
really opened up the city to those looking to buy property abroad. As
you would expect, in the city itself there is a good range of
apartments, but take a short journey out from the main centre and it is
possible to buy larger houses.
Salzburg is not a cheap place
to buy property. If you are working with a limited budget, but want to
be in "striking" distance of the city, why not take a look at the
property we have in Bad Reichenhall. Just across the border into
Germany, Bad Reichenhall is less than 20 minutes by car from Salzburg.
There are regular buses from Salzburg airport direct to Bad Reichenhall
- it takes about 25-30 minutes.
We currently have apartments
there from 25,000 euros.
