Rauris (950 m) is a mountain resort situated in the
“Golden Alpine Valley” in the Hohe Tauern National Park about
90 km from Salzburg.

This family-friendly resort offers a wide variety of all year round activities.
It has an open-air swimming-pool, well-marked paths for walkers and
hikers, cycle paths and routes, and many places to visit in the
summer season.

The winter season has plenty to offer too: the ski region “Amadé” features 280 km of blue runs, 483 km of red runs and 97 km of black runs as well as 270 cable cars and ski lifts. Apart from skiing and snowboarding, Rauris has a vast choice of other winter activities such as winter hiking, snowshoeing, curling, tobogganing and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
