The old walled mountain town of Radstadt lies at the foot of the Tauern mountain range about 40 minutes south of Salzburg airport along the A10 motorway.
It makes a perfect winter sports base.

Radstadt-Altenmarkt skiing is renowned for the quality of the piste preparation. There are free ski buses to Zauchensee, Flachau and Reiteralm.
